About Us
Vanderbilt IEEE/ACM is a local chapter of two national professional societies, the Institute for Electronics and Electrical Engineers and the Association for Computing Machinery. You do not have to be a part of either national organization to be a part of our local chapter, but if you become involved with our activities and would like to take a larger part, then it helps our local chapter out tremendously if you join them.
Our main mission here at Vanderbilt is to create a social network for students and alumni’s in the areas of Computer Science. Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. We do quite a few events throughout the year that help draw these individuals, including, but not limited to this list of recent activities.
